20 November 2009 Codelma Is Now a Certified Qt Developer Codelma has been certified to a Nokia Certified Qt Developer among the first companies in the world. Codelma participated at the international Qt developerdays in Munich, Germany where the first certification test was arranged. Timo Hatakka, CTO of Codelma passed the test successfully. Qt is a cross-platform application and UI framework which provides to developers all the functionality needed to develop advanced GUI applications on desktop and embedded platforms.
9 October 2009 Appointment in Codelma Harri Hellgren has been appointed System Engineer in Codelma Oy. Harri has extensive 20 years of experience in both electronics and software including 10 years of working abroad. Harri began his career at Yleisradio Distribution Engineering working with transmission technology and measurement equipment. In addition to system engineering he was also responsible of the calibration laboratory and technical training. Harri was appointed to CERN (European Organization for Nuclear research, Geneva) to work with particle accelerator control systems. He also took part to day to day operations of the LEP-accelerator and development of the future scientific equipment. After CERN Harri joined to a startup company in France. As a Product Development Manager on his responsibility area was to design and build a smart card based GPS-module prototype. Harri Hellgren has a B.Sc. degree in information technology from Espoo-Vantaa Institute of Technology. 5 October 2009 Codelma participated to ASD Annual Convention in Helsinki on 1-2 October 2009 The members of AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) gathered to their annual convention in Helsinki on 1-2 October 2009. The theme of the convention was Growth and innovation in challenging times. The 2009 Convention was co-hosted by AFDA, the Association of Finnish Defence and AeroSpace Industries (PIA ry) and Codelma participated in the event as one of the sponsors. About 500 participants from all over Europe gathered to discuss how to navigate through today’s challenging economic conditions. The first day of the event was devoted to workshops and field visits to the Finnish companies. On the second day focus was on the issues deemed essential for the continuing competitiveness of Europe’s aerospace, defence and security issues. |
